So many people ask me about intimacy and there being an art to touching others. Notice when you're around friends, colleagues or someone you're attracted to.
They will all solicit a highly different degree of touches.
I've always been very affectionate. With my friends, family and lovers. There is a book called, The 5 Love Languages and one of those methods we use to communicate love is TOUCH. That one is certainly mine.
As such I've become a student of human behavior to learn the appropriate levels and what makes others feel good.
There is a natural progression in our touches for them to resonate while dealing with others. We've all been in situations where we've had good intentions and others haven't been receptive. In much of my work, we discuss the intention of the person, we examine what we each bring to each other before a word is spoken.
We diagnose and define that certain “XFactor” of our own personal energy that causes us to either be magnetic with people or in some cases….the dreaded creepy.
The exciting part is we can all learn by first being intentional with the ways we communicate and not overly relying on our words since so much of what gets said isn't words at all.
Dare to become a master of touch. You'll be amazed at the power you have to better others.
I love you,
